Blendda D'Johrdan JM wins first victory in Cidade Jardim
Trainer Oberdan S. Pereira won first and second places in the Prêmio UAE President Cup Series for Fillies I, with Blendda D'Johrdan JM and Flicka AJR at the Cidade Jardim Hippodrome, Jockey Club de São Paulo, on Saturday, March 26. In an electrifying dispute from the start, Blendda D'Johrdan JM (Johrdan El Jamaal x Shallana HVP by *FA El Shawan) very well led by Idevaldo Silva, hunted the leader Flicka AJR (Feitizzo Rach x Fascinacion by *Adventure Aladin) under the mount of Jorge Ricardo, world record holder with 13,169 victories, in the final meters of the 1,000-metre turf contest to win by half a length of advantage. Matos. Trainer Oberdan S. Pereira said: “It was an exciting race as both Blendda D'Johrdan JM and Flicka AJR competed two weeks ago (March 12) and were very well trained.
